If not for the depressing weather, and for the creeping uncertainties, I'm doing very well. :)

So many things happened over the past eight weeks, all in a flash. I regret not having had the time to sit down and jot down all the afterthoughts... Everything was/still is over my head- all the readings (which I can't quite catch up), and planning for the year ahead. 

Work-wise, I'm satisfied with my papers. Some lectures are great, some mediocre. My favourite seminars are the ones for Anthropology and Geography- I love how intellectually stimulating the discussions get. I love how I am able to discover new ways of thinking everytime I walk out of a class. 

I'm quite ambivalent about the class size for Development Studies though, which is 78 people. It's good in the sense that there are people from diverse backgrounds, but bad in the sense that sometimes... it's just too many. 

Life-wise, I'm enjoying Cambridge, though I miss the city life, especially when there is no cafes (and wine bars!) to go to in the evening...I do think it's great that Cambridge has all these traditions (I personally think that it should be included in one of those 1000 things to do before dying), but at the same time, I see problems of staying too long in the ivory tower. 

Looking foward to Lent & Easter Term and my 6 x 5000word essays & one exam.

But before that, I seriously need a break! Counting down to Barcelona & Warsaw! :)
